The kind of knitter I am

Last night, I was bored and decided that I wanted to start a pair of socks.  So I went to the store about twenty minutes before they closed, in a rainstorm, just to get the needles that I needed.  While I was there, hurriedly trying to find the needles I needed, I realized that that is the kind of knitter I am.  I’m a last minute, I’ve already got three projects, but I’m bored and need to add another one, kind of knitter.  Is that bad?  I don’t know.  I suppose I focus less on actually completing projects than on the process of knitting.  I can’t just sit and knit the same thing for three weeks, I need to be able to switch around.  I’m the same way with books.  I am constantly reading about four books at once.  I think I have knitting and reading ADD.
